Help
How can we help?
Answers for when you are using Lilly and something is unclear or not working. Wondering whether Lilly is for you? The questions page covers the free week, memberships and your data.
Nothing here matches that. Send us a message and a person will reply.
Signed in? Ask Lilly first.
These pages can say why something happens in general. Lilly can see the state of your own account, such as whether Google is connected and where your readings have reached, so she can usually say why it happened to you. If she cannot settle it, she will offer to pass it to a person and show you exactly what she would send.

Getting started
I cannot sign in
Caluminate signs you in with your Google account; there is no separate password. Use the same Google account you joined with: a different one opens a different, empty account.
If Google signs you in but Caluminate does not open, try once more in a private window, which rules out a browser extension or a stale sign-in. If it still fails, send us a message from the form on this page with the email address on your account.
Why is my first reading not there yet?
Your first readings are written after setup, not picked from a list, so they take some time. Lilly first waits for your Google Calendar to finish its first sync, then your readings are queued, written and checked. The calendar shows which stage it has reached and refreshes as each reading is issued.
It says “Preparation needs help” or “Preparation stopped temporarily”
“Preparation stopped temporarily” means the last attempt hit a problem that can be retried: use the button shown to queue it again. “Preparation needs help” means the automatic attempts have stopped and a person needs to look. Ask Lilly to pass it on, or send us a message from the form on this page, and we will see the failure on your account.
How do I correct my birth details?
Open Settings in the application and edit your birth date, time or place there. Your chart is recalculated from the corrected details and later readings are written from the new chart.
Google Calendar
It says Google Calendar needs attention
The connection to Google has stopped working, either because access was withdrawn or because Google stopped accepting it. Open Settings, General, and choose Reconnect. Readings that depend on your diary may pause until the connection is restored; nothing is lost while it is.
An event in my Google Calendar is not showing in Caluminate
Caluminate reads your primary Google calendar only, over a bounded window around the dates your readings cover. Events on other calendars, events you have declined and cancelled events are not brought in. A change made in Google can take a short while to arrive.
I asked Lilly to move or remove an event and it did not change
An event from your own Google Calendar is never changed on the instruction alone. Lilly sets the change out for you, and it is written to Google only when you approve it, so first look for the change waiting for your approval.
Lilly also leaves an event alone when someone else organised it, when it has changed in Google since she set the change out, or when your connection was made before Caluminate asked for permission to edit, in which case signing in with Google again grants it. An all-day event from Google is not moved. She tells you which of these applies.
What happens when I change an event that repeats?
For an event that repeats in your Google Calendar, only the one occurrence you asked about is changed. For a repeating item you made in Caluminate, Lilly changes that one occurrence unless you say all of them or from now on.
I removed an event by mistake
Ask Lilly to put it back. She can restore the item she most recently removed in the conversation, including one removed from your Google Calendar. An event removed from Google also goes to the bin in Google Calendar, where Google holds it for a limited time and you can restore it yourself.
What is the calendar named Caluminate in my Google Calendar?
It is a separate calendar Caluminate creates for Lilly’s readings, so the astrology never mixes with your own events and you can hide it all with one tick. What you add to your diary, and the times you approve, go on your own calendar. You can hide or delete the Caluminate calendar in Google Calendar at any time. Entries already delivered may remain there after your access ends, because Google keeps them independently.
How do I disconnect Google Calendar?
Open Settings, General, and choose Revoke. That withdraws Caluminate’s authorisation at Google, deletes the stored Google tokens and stops synchronisation. You can also withdraw access from your Google Account permissions.
Readings
Why does a day have no reading, or say it is under review?
Every reading is checked twice before it reaches you: against the calculated facts and against the method it claims to follow. A draft that fails is written again. If it still does not pass after three attempts, the day is held and Lilly says so. There is no switch that lets an unchecked reading through, so a held day stays held until a reading passes.
A day can also have no reading because it has not been written yet, or because it lies beyond your horizon.
Why can I not see further ahead?
Your readings and calendar view reach as far as your horizon: seven days in the free week, 30 with Month Ahead, 90 with Season Ahead and 365 with Year Ahead, measured from today and moving forward daily. Near-term dates have more daily detail; farther ahead, Lilly offers broader outlooks and explores the dates you ask about.
My diary changed. Is the reading still current?
Readings are written against your diary as it stood, and Caluminate keeps them current when your diary changes so that stale context is not presented as current. In conversation Lilly always works from your diary as it stands at that moment, including anything the two of you have just added.
Working with Lilly
What can I ask Lilly to do with my diary?
Add an event at a time you name, find free time for something, move or remove an item, keep a task list with deadlines and plan when to do the tasks, set up something that repeats or a habit a number of times a week, and remember how you like your time arranged. Say it in your own words; she acts on a clear instruction without asking whether you are sure.
Lilly says she needs a short pause
There is a limit on how many messages can be sent in an hour and in a day, higher for members than in the free week. When you reach it Lilly asks for a pause; the hourly limit clears within the hour and the daily one by the next day.
What does Lilly remember about me, and can I change it?
When you tell Lilly something lasting about yourself, it is put forward as a suggested memory and kept only once you confirm it. You can review, correct or remove remembered facts at any time under Settings, Personalisation, Manage Lilly’s memory. Memory belongs to your account alone.
How long are my conversations kept, and can I erase them?
Conversations with Lilly are kept for 13 months by default, or until you delete them if you choose that under Settings, Data controls. You can erase your conversation history there at any time. Erasing removes the transcripts and their search indexes; confirmed memory is stored separately and remains.
Billing and your membership
How do I change plan, cancel, pause or update my card?
Open Settings, Subscription. From there you can change plan, cancel at the end of the period you have paid for, pause, resume, and open Manage billing to update your card or see invoices. Payments are handled by Stripe; Caluminate never holds your full card number.
My payment failed
Open Settings, Subscription, and choose Manage billing to update your card. Access is restored once the payment goes through. If the payment has gone through at your bank and your account still shows a problem, send us a message and a person will check it.
Can I have a refund?
Refund requests are decided by a person, not by Lilly. Any refund or cooling-off rights you have under the law where you live are unaffected by Caluminate’s terms. Send us a message from the form on this page, or ask Lilly to pass your request on, and we will reply by email.
I was charged and I do not think I should have been
A person looks at every billing dispute. The free week never takes a card and never becomes a subscription on its own, so a charge means a membership was chosen at checkout on some account. Send us a message with the email address on the account and the date and amount of the charge, or ask Lilly to pass it on, and we will reply by email.
Account and privacy
How do I delete my account?
You can do it yourself at any time under Settings, Data controls, Delete account; any subscription is cancelled at the same moment. Deletion removes your calendar records, diary snapshots, readings, conversations and derived personal data from the active database. Lilly cannot delete an account for you. If you cannot reach Settings, email info@caluminate.com from the address on your account and a person will do it.
How do I get a copy of my data, or make another privacy request?
Email info@caluminate.com from the address on your account and a person will send you a copy of what Caluminate holds. The same address handles requests to correct, restrict or object to processing. Settings, Data controls, has a button that starts that email for you.
If I ask for help, will someone read my calendar?
No. People at Caluminate do not routinely read your calendar content. A support request carries what you wrote and the state of your account, such as your plan and whether Google is connected; it carries no event titles, readings or conversation. If looking at your calendar content were ever needed to help you, we would ask for your specific consent first.
How do I reach a person?
Ask Lilly to pass your question to the team: she writes a short summary, shows it to you, and sends it only when you say yes. Or use the form on the Help page, which works whether or not you are signed in. Either way a person replies by email.
Reach a person
Send us a message.
This works whether or not you are signed in. A person reads every message and replies by email. Refunds, billing disputes and requests about your data are always handled by a person.
