Is this AI?
It depends on which surface you are asking about. The Caluminate product layer uses computed chart data and model-rendered prose for daily guidance; that is disclosed plainly.
The Almanac is different: Marcus Leigh authors every signed claim per instance — the claim, the forecast window, the resolution criteria and any horary judgment. Signed content is never machine-authored. Product content is never presented as a staked claim. One-off manuscript readings are prepared by human astrologers and signed off before delivery.
Are my readings truly anonymous?
You choose the name you give. No account is required for one-off readings. Your birth data is stored in a private database accessible only to the astrologers assigned to your order; they never see your real name unless you volunteer it in your question or notes.
We do not link your reading to any public profile. Payment is handled by Stripe under a separate reference. The name on your bank statement and the name in your reading file are never joined.
What is classical astrology?
Classical astrology is the tradition codified most completely in William Lilly's Christian Astrology (1647), drawing on sources from Ptolemy through the Arabic masters and the Renaissance syntheses. It works from essential dignities — domicile, exaltation, triplicity, term, and face — rather than modern psychological rulerships. It names its significators, states its reasoning, and arrives at conclusions.
It can be wrong. That capacity for error is what makes it honest. It is not sun-sign columns. It is not "energy." It is a technique that reasons from the sky to named conclusions — and can therefore be checked.
How long does a reading take?
For A Burning Question (horary), there are four speed tiers: Unhurried (within 24 hours), Swift (within 12 hours), Same Day (within 6 hours), and Immediate (within 3 hours). Each is priced accordingly. All are measured from confirmed payment during attending hours.
Natal readings, the Year Ahead, and longer works take 4–5 days at standard, or 2–3 days at the Priority option. The attending hours are 08:00–22:00 GMT — if you place an order outside those hours, the clock starts at next opening.
What is the guarantee?
If the judgment does not address the question you asked, you are entitled to a re-read at no charge. If you are not satisfied after the re-read, you receive a full refund. No questions, no quibbling.
The guarantee exists because an astrologer who cannot be held to account for their judgment has no incentive to reason carefully.
Can I ask a follow-up question?
Yes. Every one-off reading includes one follow-up question. If the chart was ambiguous on a point, or the astrologer's reasoning raised a further question, submit it through your private library and the astrologer will revisit the figure.
Deep subscribers also have access to the Guide — a chat assistant grounded in your natal chart — for ongoing dialogue between readings.
How is my data handled?
Birth data and reading documents are stored in Supabase, protected by row-level security. They are never sold or shared with third parties. Stripe handles payment; your birth data never touches Stripe's systems.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us. Reading documents are retained for 12 months after delivery in case of access difficulties, then deleted. Early deletion is available on request.
